Welcome to Yunus and Yusuf! Starting this journey together as a duo is a fantastic advantage. At 11 years old, they are at an age where they possess the focus and logic to grasp the rules of the Arabic language much faster than younger beginners. This course is designed to respect their maturity, moving through the foundational “Noorani Qaida” efficiently so they don’t feel held back. We will leverage their ability to learn from one another, turning the classroom into a collaborative space where they can practice pronunciation and rule application together.
The goal of this course is to ensure that both Yunus and Yusuf build a rock-solid foundation for Quranic recitation. We will focus intensely on Makharij (correct pronunciation points) right from the start, preventing the formation of incorrect habits that are harder to break later. By the end of this course, they will not just be “spelling” out Arabic words; they will be reading them with proper flow and accent, fully prepared to open the Mushaf (Quran) and begin their recitation journey with confidence.

Since they are 11, this curriculum is structured to be more logic-based and slightly faster-paced than a standard class for younger children.
Module 1: The Architecture of Letters
Precision Pronunciation: heavy focus on throat and heavy letters (e.g., Haa vs. Haa, Qaf vs. Kaf).
Visual Recognition: Rapid identification of letters in their joined forms (initial, medial, final shapes).
Sibling Drills: Interactive exercises where they identify letters for each other to build speed.
Module 2: The Science of Vowels (Harakat)
Short vs. Long: Understanding the mechanical difference between Fatha/Kasra/Damma and the Madd letters.
Tanween Logic: Explaining the grammatical “N” sound at the end of words.
Vertical Vowels: Introduction to the “Standing Fatha/Kasra/Damma” often found in the Quran.
Module 3: Mechanics of Reading (Joining & Pausing)
The Sukoon (Linker): Learning how to lock two letters together smoothly.
The Shaddah (Emphasis): Mastering the “double letter” stress without pausing.
Complex Words: Practice reading 4, 5, and 6-letter words to build stamina.
Module 4: Pre-Quran Preparation
Rule Integration: Applying basic Tajweed rules (like Ghunnah) while reading Qaida exercises.
Flow Test: Moving from spelling-style reading (Hajje) to direct reading (Rawan).
First Surahs: Reading the last 3 Surahs of the Quran directly from the text to celebrate their graduation from the Qaida.
