Welcome to the academy, Abeer! At 10 years old, Abeer is at an ideal age to grasp the logic and structure of the Arabic language quickly. This course is designed to take Abeer through the foundational “Noorani Qaida” with a focus on precision and understanding. Unlike younger beginners, a 10-year-old has the maturity to understand how sounds are formed, so we will move beyond simple repetition to understanding the mechanics of reading. We aim to build a bridge between knowing the alphabet and fluent recitation.
In this class, we will prioritize “Tajweed from Day One.” This means we won’t just teach Abeer to recognize letters, but to pronounce them exactly as they should be spoken. This prevents the formation of incorrect reading habits that can be difficult to fix later. By the end of this course, Abeer will have completed the Qaida and will possess the skills to pick up the Quran and read words independently, knowing exactly how to connect letters and apply the basic rules of recitation.

This curriculum is structured to be efficient and rule-based, respecting the growing cognitive abilities of a 10-year-old.
