Hifz Program
Memorise the entire Holy Quran with UK Quran Academy's comprehensive Online Hifz Program. Whether you're a child, teenager, adult, or working professional, our Sabaq-Sabqi-Manzil methodology ensures systematic memorisation with strong long-term retention. Led by Ijazah-certified Huffaz with years of Hifz teaching experience, this program serves dedicated students across the UK, USA, UAE, Canada, and worldwide.
What Makes Our Hifz Program Different
Sabaq, Sabqi & Manzil Methodology
Our proven 3-tier daily revision system: Sabaq (new lesson), Sabqi (recent revision of last 7 days), and Manzil (rotating revision of all previously memorised Juz). This structure is the gold standard used in traditional Hifz institutions worldwide.
Ijazah-Certified Huffaz Teachers
Every Hifz tutor at UK Quran Academy is a Hafiz/Hafiza with Ijazah β a certified chain of Quran transmission back to the Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί. Your memorisation is guided by teachers who have completed the same journey.
Weekly Assessments & Tests
Regular oral evaluation exams, weekly progress tests, and monthly comprehensive assessments ensure students are retaining what they've memorised β not just moving forward without solid foundations.
Retention & Dhor (Revision) Focus
The biggest challenge in Hifz is forgetting what you've memorised. Our program dedicates significant time to Dhor (revision), Mutashabihat (similar verses) training, and long-term retention strategies.
Hifz Tracks for Every Student

Hifz Revision (Dhor) Course

Your Hifz Journey β Step by Step
Initial Assessment & Goal Setting
We assess your current memorisation level, reading ability, and Tajweed proficiency. Based on this, a personalised Hifz plan is created with daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Daily Sabaq (New Memorisation)
Each session begins with reciting the newly memorised portion to the teacher. The tutor listens carefully, corrects any errors, and confirms the Sabaq before introducing the next portion.
Sabqi & Manzil Revision
After the new lesson, students revise recent memorisation (Sabqi β last 7 days) and rotate through previously completed Juz (Manzil). This 3-layer approach prevents forgetting and builds rock-solid retention.
Monthly Comprehensive Test
At the end of each month, a comprehensive oral examination tests random pages from all memorised Juz. This identifies weak areas that need additional revision before moving forward.
Hifz Pace Calculator
Your estimated completion time depends on your daily memorisation pace and weekly class frequency:
- 1 page per day (5 classes/week) β Complete 30 Juz in approximately 20 months
- Β½ page per day (5 classes/week) β Complete 30 Juz in approximately 3 years
- ΒΌ page per day (3 classes/week) β Complete 30 Juz in approximately 5β6 years
- 2 lines per day (3 classes/week) β Complete 30 Juz in approximately 8β10 years
These are estimates. Your teacher will set realistic, personalised targets based on your ability and schedule.
Frequently Asked Questions β Full Hifz Program
How does the Academy ensure students don't forget previously memorised Juz?
Our Sabaq-Sabqi-Manzil system dedicates a significant portion of every session to revision. Additionally, monthly comprehensive exams test random sections from all memorised Juz. Students who show weakness in any area receive targeted revision assignments.
Can working adults or university students enrol in a part-time Hifz schedule?
Absolutely. Our part-time Hifz track is specifically designed for adults and students who cannot commit to daily classes. With 3 sessions per week and realistic daily targets (ΒΌ to Β½ page), you can memorise the Quran at a sustainable pace alongside your work or studies.
Do teachers hold a continuous Sanad/Ijazah in Quran recitation?
Yes. All our Hifz tutors hold Ijazah with an authentic Sanad (chain of transmission) connecting their recitation to the Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί. This ensures you're learning the Quran exactly as it was revealed.
Are there regular oral evaluation exams and progress tests?
Yes. Weekly tests cover Sabqi (recent memorisation), monthly exams cover all memorised portions, and milestone tests are conducted after completing each Juz. Progress reports are shared with parents/students regularly.
What happens after my child completes the full Hifz?
Upon completing all 30 Juz with quality retention, the student enters a consolidation period where they revise the entire Quran multiple times under teacher supervision. Students who achieve the required standard can pursue an Ijazah certification.
Is the Hifz program available for girls with female teachers?
Yes. We have qualified female Hafiza teachers available for girls and women enrolled in the Hifz program, offering the same rigorous methodology in a comfortable learning environment.
